Where can i get a fog light kit for an 05 TL?

 

Your TL already has fog lights

 

I mean something bigger, more powerful

 

there arent any that i know of. you can get brighter bulbs for the current fogs. i have Piaa's Yellow fogs light bulbs

i have a set of hella's fog lights that i mounted behind the bottom grilles...but it does absolutely nothing...its pretty much there for cosmetic reasons. i thought it would work but the grille just blocks out 90% of the light.

 

Has anyone who has used these fog lights noticed they work better then the normal xenons. I have heard rumors that fog lights do nothing.

 

fog lights are ment to use when its foggy out. most have yellow bulbs which cuts throught the fog better than white light, blue, purple, etc...

 

No, they don't work better; they work differently for different and discreet purposes. Do nothing? No, they light the roadway immediately in front of the car and more to the sides than the xenons.

foglights don't cut through fog and light up what is in front of you. they are aimed more at the ground and will try to light up the floor to allow you to see the road better.
