I'm wanting to change out the foglight bulbs (in main headlight, not in bumper) on my 2005 SSM. Anyone know the temperature of the stock HID's? I'm torn between matching the output color and going with a different color for contrast, but def want to swap em. Also anyone know the part #?

 

I'm not positive, but i believe the stock HIDs are about 5200k, you'll have to do a little searching to find out for sure, also you might want to consider going with NOKYA hyper yellow foglight bulbs for a nice contrast against the stock HIDs.


I believe the # for the bulbs you need is 9006, look in the photo section and search NOKYA foglights and you'll see some photos of what i was talkin about and other swaps fellow AZer's have done.

 

by the way if you have all those mods done on your TL grab a camera and post some pics.

Wow that looks pissah! I think I'm def goin with the hyper yellow. The smoked lens looks great too. I'll put some pics up tonight.

Yes it's 9006. I just got my TL a couple weeks ago and this was one of the first things I did. I used a set of Luminics 9006 2500k jdm yellow bulbs. Loooks great!
