Fog lights vs. Honda's
Anybody compare the effectiveness of our fog lights to the seperately installed (and lower) fog lights available for the Accord?
My buddy has a 2003 Accord and is getting fog lights added. He insists that our fog lights "don't count" since they are integrated into the main light cluster.
I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Adam.
Do you think we NEED lower fogs? So far mine seem to work pretty well in foggy conditions. Of course I have no basis for comparison on a similar car. At least not yet.
Anybody else have an opinion on our fog lights? Are they any good?

I think our foglight is working ok... but sometimes ppl think we're turning on our beams... and they try to beam us back...
IMO, the foglight casting from different angles could provide better illumination results. For example, the lower projection light could light farther without hurting opposite cars and will have less interference with our near-while color headlight.

Sorry, I hate it when people drive with their "fog" lights on while there is no fog.

Our fog lights SHOULD be below the bumper. The fog is clearer the closer to the road, so the lights will work better. I feel that was a bad decision by Acura.
The foglights are below the bumper on the TSX.
I feel it was a cost-cutting measure - integrating them into one assembly - who cares if they workor not?
ALSO the more light on the front the better - it helps others to see you. Thery are not so obvious when they are in the same place as the headlights. I will also add lower foglights, Maybe I can convert the exisiting ones to DRLs like they have on the Canadian TLs.

I'm going to mount fog lights lower, wired to the same circuit due to the "look like highbeam" issue. Not sure what I'll do with the existing bulb socket, though. Maybe DRL's that turn off when the xenon headlights switch on?

I usually drive with my 'supplemental' lights on as they light up the edges better than the regular lights.
Now, I know some people here were working on being able to turn them on without the HID lights. So far, I have not seen any results
come on guys, are you going to let this simple thing stop you

It is not as easy as the second gen TL's as it goes through a computer to turn on and off.
Just changing a wire does not work, and extra relay is needed.
It can be done, someone said they have done it, but it was never posted.
Not sure it is worth the touble, but I did review the wiring and it can be done.
