Floor Jack Recommendations?

I should start out by saying I did indeed do a search here on this subject/topic. I only saw one thread dating back to 2014. Most of the prices are most likely outdated, or the products are no longer available. I also wasn't sure where to post this, so my apologies if this is the wrong section.

But anyway. Looking for a floor jack obviously. And leaning towards the Harbor Freight Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile floor jack with rapid pump - https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-...red-56617.html has anyone had any luck with this? Or have any information? I saw this video tonight

So that makes me go back and forth on getting that one, wish it still had the screw vs rubber plug. Is there a LOW profile jack anyone suggests. This will be a jack that will NOT see all that much use at all by the way. I'd guess maybe 5 times a year MAX. Still hard to beat the HF Pittsburgh price.

Harbor Freight prices can’t be beat. I purchased an OTC aluminum 15 years ago and it still works fine. That said these days they almost all are made in China.

My only comment: Do you need a 3T jack or are adverse to the aluminum ones? They are significantly lighter.

if I were to buy one now it would be a low profile with long reach.

The 3T Pittsburg low profile or standard variant will work fine for home use. I do nearly all my maintenance myself and had the previous 2.5T model for 6 or 7 years before it started to show signs of fatigue. Replaced it with the 3T maybe 2 or 3 years ago and it worked well for 3G TL and 2G CL lifting.

Whatever you decide to do, remember a jack is for lifting and lowering. Support the load appropriately with jack stands or ramps and the jack will last much longer.
