Finally ordered mine today - Merry Christmas to me!

Well, I finally jumped off the cliff and ordered the Anthracite/Quartz (Auto & Navi).

Dealer was hard to budge from MSRP but finally quoted me $34,400 - not great - but not bad either.

Now I just have to wait until Feb to get it!

I'm very excited.

Thanks to all in this forum for helping me with my decisions by reading your informative and well thought out postings!!

Guess I'll be doing a lot of driving in 2004 :-)

I hope you did get the great deal. Congratulations.

Hope you could get more package or gifts with this price from your dealer.

Merry Christmas.

Wow, a dealer that was open on Christmas? Maybe they're hurting for sales

$700 off MSRP is a great deal. You give yourself too little credit. Congratulations!

Since you are tin Texas, I would suggest that you get in touch with the Dallas dealers. They are in the $1600 off range.

I was able to get that in Houston also.... but it was difficult.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Dallas pricing.
I might look into it.

The only "extra" the local Austin dealer would throw in was the trunk tray/protector that I asked for.

Guess thats the luxury the dealers have when a particular model of car is in demand.

Having said all that, for $34,400 (ex tax and title) Acura are really delivering a lot of car for a good price!

Now I just wish it was Feb so I could go collect mine :-)

Pulled the trigger on my order last Saturday as well. Anthracite/Ebony w/Nav.

Got mine for $1200 off MSRP, plus trunk tray and floor mats.

Also got underbody spoilers, deck lid spoiler and moonroof visor for $2100

They gave me $750 more than I wanted for my trade in as well. They initially offered me $500 less than I wanted and I walked. Next day they called and offered me $750 more.

They're having trouble locating the car though in existing stock, so I may need to wait a few weeks for it.

Overall I think I did pretty well. I can't wait to get this car!
