I spend over an hour and a half commuting in the DC area so having an SQL TL was important to me.

Understood. Depending on the day, my commutes are about 30-45 minutes. Before I put a lot of mat in my old car I was getting like 25mpg, but after I matted the rear deck, entire trunk, and rear doors it dropped to 22.5mpg. But if you're not to worried about it, I say weigh it down....besides you could defend yourself by saying it helps with traction in the snow...even though the car is front wheel drive.

The only change I may make to the trunk configuration is to reposition the sub and have it fire toward the back seat. The TL trunk is known to kill bass frequencies due to it being so air tight (quess that why Acura had the sub enclosed on the rear deck). I may consider 2 10" JL W6V2 subs if my installer can figure out how to fit a JL 1000-1 amp in the rear deck. We discussed to two JL 300-4 along with the 1000-1. That way I'll only have 3 amps, but the 1000-1 is the same length as 2 300-2s. If I make the change it will probably be in the fall. The system is scheduled to be professionally tuned next week.

Anytime I hear someone spend over 5k on audio upgrades I never really understand because that extra money could be put towards a better car. Don't get me wrong I am a big music fan and the premium audio equipment is well worth the money but add the custom install fees and it always is the roadblock for me. But everytime I see a nice install like this one I just drool because I only wish I had a nice setup that's clean and discreet.

The best move C made was to leave. As I told her, she has to look out for the two of you. A job is just that, a job. She'll be happier where she went as opposed to staying here.
