Final Word

Final word regarding Sprint and BlueTooth:

Do they have a current phone that has BT capabilities? I am about to send them to hell...

Thanks

Is it me or do all three replies have nothing to do with the original question?
arkollbay: to answer your question, Sprint currently sells the SonyEricsson T608 phone which is BT, but is only available through sprint telesales (can't get it in stores or online). I think the phone is $199, but people have been reporting rebates ranging from $75 to $150.

Is the SonyEricson T608 fully compatible with the TL BT technology? How do I contact them? Thanks!

Read the various posts on here about it (search T608), but from what I understand, yes it is. Also search the word telesales on here and you will find the number - don't remember it off hand.

good luck

Ericsson T608

For what it's worth, I just picked up my TL yesterday.

Paired the T608 with the car - took about 5 minutes (probably could be faster but I screwed up a couple of commands)

The T608 works great with the TL - also, it is a pretty nice phone on its own. I've been with Sprint for awhile and have been used to Samsung phones, so it took a bit of time to get the logic of the Ericsson phone down - but overall works great.

The T608 pairs with the TL just fine. The sound quality for people on the other end can be less than perfect, but it sounds good from inside the car.

If you do get a T608 and apply for a rebate, save all of your paperwork. I had to go through several people before they would honor my rebate, despite the fact that I satisfied all of the conditions.

You should check this site out:

www.sprintpcsinfo.com

They have a sub-forum dedicated to the T608, with a fairly lengthy thread on the rebate issue alone.

Since when does this matter? Just wondering, seems some people get their panties in a bunch if the topic wavers...

Oh I don't really care - I just made the comment because I thought it was funny that the only three replies up to that point were completely unrelated. I actually thought the forum software had a glitch and was pulling replies from another thread and including them here.

and now this thread has officially wavered
