Feature I never heard about

I was talking to a guy I work with about our TL's. He asked me if I ever knew about the feature where you could roll down the windows & open the sunroof with the key fob for those hot humid days. I feel like a newbie, but its the first time I've ever heard about it! Anyone else?

Not sure how I learned this, can't remember if I just figured it out ... or read it here, but I did learn this within my first day or two of ownership, pretty cool feature.

Just wish we could roll them up this way, which there is a module you can buy that allows us to do so, I have been wanting to do this someday ...

It's in the owner's manual, although my salesman went through it during delivery of the TL.

its definitely a nice feature ...just wish I didn't need the KP tech roll up module to roll them back up with fob.

my favorite ALL TIME feature from my 07-08s 5AT was the auto-crank.. I totally miss that in my 6MT.

^ He's talking about the auto-starter, don't have to hold the key to start.

Yeah, mine doesn't either. Damn you 6 mt.

On another note get the KPTechnologies roll up module. A very good way to spend 50.00 and 30 minutes to install.

While I can't guarantee this works on earlier models, I can raise all the windows by using the key. You just unlock the door and then turn and hold the key in the same direction. It is not as convenient as using the fob but it s a way to do this. It's all in the manual!

if you're talking about the auto start,
the accord doesnt have the auto start even 08+ models as far as I know. 2013 accord might be different.

if you;re talking about the window roll down feature,
the accord has had it since 2003

^Guess I need to undo my keyhole delete mod

And even my 4yr old figured out how to roll the windows down with the key fob. Luckily I caught it before it rained.

The first thing I do when I buy a new car is read the manual. I had forgotten about this though. Glad I read the thread.

I can't tell you how many people I end up telling about this feature on their OWN cars. They're like, wow, you're like, a magic man.
