Extra plastic cover in trunk when purchased?

Hey everybody, I bought my TL a couple months back and in the trunk was an extra plastic piece. Do any of you recognize it? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere in the engine bay, and I have no idea where it goes. Please help!

Is there a part number stamped on it somewhere?

Looks like the piece that's below the steering wheel. If you look under the dash on the driver side, you should a whole wack of wires....This piece hides them all.
