Extra Cupholders

Search gave me nothing, or I am too dumb to search for the right stuff.

Anybody have good ideas for a 3rd, or even 4th cupholder? I work out of my car and could use 3 or 4 most days for phones, cups full of pens and even some drinks.

What kind of slick stuff have you come up with?

I keep my phone on the lower part of the center console right in front of the shifter (propped up against the closed drawer). I find that that's the most convenient place to put it.

However, I am in the process of fabricating a dock there for my droid. It's proving a little tricky though. So, for now, I just let it hang out there.

1 cup holder saved ;-)

Put the phone in the center armrest where it belongs (top portion is ideal) and turn on the Bluetooth. That will free up some space, at least.

How about the two boxes in front of the shifter? I usually leave the top one open and stick my house keys, pens, etc. in there. They are sharply titled downward towards the front of the car so nothing falls out. Don't forget about the door pockets also - good for water bottles, my wallet, etc.

Change is a problem - I don't have the patience to stick each coin into that little spring loaded device, so it usually ends up in the cupholder area and then rattles like crazy.

My iPhone is almost always plugged into the charger and in the top of the center console box.

Step 5. When reaching into the back seat for a drink you swerve into the next lane into a head on collision.

I like the idea of a truck center console buckled into the passenger seat. Much more safe

HFL has been BOOTING UP for a year...

I have been dropping change in the bottom part of the center console. My kids will dig it out of there and put it in our glass jar every few weeks.

I might have to get out the heat gun and fabricate some plastic. On my 92 accord, I used a pair of drywall screws and screwed a 24 ounce shorty cup into the center console next to the e-brake, but I don't think that I will be drilling holes in the TL for a few hundred thousand more miles.
