Extended Warranty Advice for a Newbie...
I just bought a CPO 2005 TL (Anthracite Metallic exterior/Parchment interior) with 40K miles. I have total coverage up to 62K miles & 100K powertrain with the CPO, but I was offered an Extended Warranty for $850 from Fidelity Warranty Services out of FL. I have a week to decide...so what do you guys think? A good deal?
Has anyone dealt with Fidelity before? If so, how are they?

I would only buy the extended warranty offered through the dealer. Is the car certified? At only 40k miles it should have been certified which gives you another 12k 12mo. it came in handy for me because within the first month I had them replace my battery and positive cable. Next month I was leaking power steering fluid and they had to replace the entire steering rack which would've cost me a nice amount of money but instead they fixed it for free thanks to the warranty.

I did, but just like a vast majority of businesses they state wonderful things about themselves.
Hoping to hear from someone with experience dealing with them. The price is better than quotes i got from direct warranty companies...which got me thinking their service is shotty. But that is the pesimist in me.

yea, it is certified. so witht he certification i am covered up to 62k miles...just wondering if the extended warranty is worth the price for the remaining 38k miles.
your situation is my biggest concern.

the ext. warranty is worth it only if you have navi. If the navi drive craps out, thats about a 3.5K repair, only 3K in parts! Also if you are in the 49 states that are not florida, call Tim for a warranty and see what he can do. If you are in florida, visit your local dealer and ask them.

I'll give Tim a call since I am in GA. Thanks.
