Engine and transmission replacement
Car is getting an engine and transmission swap, got an extremely good deal for both and cars sitting for a few months so I said why not. My question is what else am I going to need to complete the swap? New water pump? Spark plugs, oil, filters? Anything you guys might recommend getting down while I’m at it? I have a 2006 Acura TL

The AISIN timing belt kit is all OEM and replaces the core timing components (water pump/pulleys/tensioner/belt). The full kit is cheaper than just the water pump from the dealership.
If you wanna avoid future hard-to-repair leaks, I would also recommend the main oil pump seal and rear main seal while the engine is out. Those parts are cheap but its pretty difficult to do with the engine already mounted inside.
Assuming you have a 04-06 BDGA transmission, Do a 3x3 OEM fluid change and replace the top transmission heater filter on your last change. There's also been a bunch of posts on extending transmission life by replacing the 3rd and 4th pressure switches as well. You can look into that.

+1 on the Asin T belt kit, oil pump seal, rear main and the 3X3 for the tranny.
while it’s out you might as well do the valve cover gaskets with a kit that includes the spark plug tube seals, and the vtec solenoid seal/filter.
while the valve covers are off, check the lash. At 160k miles all my intakes were on the loose end of spec and all my exhausts were on the tight end, though none were out.
