Just curious how do you DIY paint engine shroud or do you take it somewhere (shop) what kind of shop?/how much?

basically, you want to sand it with a fine grit sandpaper and paint with a primer and multiple thin layers of desired color topped off with a clear coat if you want...people have used different processes, do a search and you'll see their specific steps/results
