Anyway, I mess around with the car today. I went into PCM reset and somehow I feel the engine running smoother. I am not sure is that how I feel or It is really running smoother? Does anyone reset your PCM before?

 

how did you do it? just disconnect the battery

 

NO , I use Acura Software to Reset PCM

 

yea the car has a learning computer so initializing the pcm will clear its current beating(s) and go back to default.

 

does it helps engine running smoother? i feel a liilte different

 

no the guys in service its ok here n there but u do it a lot it really eats the engine up. i told them i like the way it feels when it comes out of the dealer when the computers all cleared and they broke it down to me.

Where do you get the Acura software? Can you provide equipment / material and steps please? I bought my car used and I was wondering on how to reset it to learn my driving habits.
