Engine getting weaker?

It might just be me, but I feel as if my 2006 TL is a little slower in accelerating these days. Nothing else seems wrong.

The only thing that I can think of is that I have performed a 2x3 Redline ATF change on the transmission.

Anyone else notice this or am i just getting sort of speed craze?

Honestly your probably just getting used to the power but depending on mileage and maintenance you have done it might need a tune up.

If its getting warmer where you live, it might be that the engine compartment is getting heat soaked and losing performance....

Which way did you reset it to notice the difference?

the gas pedal method seems easiest since nothing is required.

I forgot the procedure, but since summer is coming soon I should do this as well

Make sure A/C and radio/cd/aux is off.
1)Insert key into ignition and turn to On II (position just before it fires the engine)

2) Press the gas pedal to the floor and hold for 5 seconds.

3) With the gas pedal still down, turn the key to the off position... now let off of the gas pedal.

4) leave the key in and wait 2 minutes.

5) Test drive

This method worked for me and I noticed a huge markup in power, since the previous owner drove like a grandma.
