Has anyone purchased any of the 2004 TL accesories on ebay?? I just got the deck lid spoiler for $282.07 shipped, thats a pretty good deal right?? Just wondering if anyone has had issues buying OEM products from ebay.

I just bought a 5AT A-spec suspension kit from the same guy you did, pearltl. $600 for the suspension kit trumps $250 for Comptechs and another 6-800 for Konis. We'll see about the service when it gets here.

Thumbs up ebay - no problem

I bought a trunk liner and all seasons floor mats off of ebay - no problem at all (shipping was only $8).

How do you get the badge if you are only buying part of the A-SPEC?
I think all the 1/2 A-SPECs would be interested, especially since there are many that don't think the wheel design is that hot. They only work on certain color cars.

I agree, but I think a non-aspec car with aspec badging is sort of cheezy....its like slapping a E500 badge on an E320

I agree, but really, that's a big difference.
You put the TL's next to each other, like mine for example, and the only thing that's different is the wheels.
Performance is the same, at least that's pretty much the general concensus. The price of the option is coming way down based on more recent purchases.
There are more lay people out there. The chances of me pulling up next to a silver TL with the wheels, because that's how I think of it, is pretty slim... don't you think.
I have not seen an A-Spec on the road yet.
As a matter of fact, I have not seen one with even the spoiler kit.
Besides, based on everyones feedback, the stock rims look better on silver than pretty much anything else out there for now.

The badge does look nice though.
I am thinking about it....

Gated shifter

I don't think there is enough space to have a shift gate with the full pattern of the 7 gears. I hope I am wrong because that would play into one of my future mods...the gear indicator display.

I was also thinking of a new boot but the old one has to be removed from the underside of the console. I also need a pattern for the boot because I'm not going to destroy my stock one, just in case.

Read his message again. He said............

"No Iv Purchased My Lip Spoiler,my A Spec Springs,my A SPec Badge From Ebay No Problem At All."

He also got the springs (and shocks too, I am certain). That's what it takes to make a TL an A-Spec. The rest is eye candy. There is a reason that the badge comes with the suspension parts and not with the steering wheel, the 18" wheels , etc.

Suspension parts only = TL A-Spec

Does anyone know what the amount of drop is from the base suspension to the A-Spec suspension? I want to improve the handling, but do not want it to look like a rice rocket. Thanks!
