Has anyone experienced dash letters going out? It seems that the "E" for Empty gas and the "H" for Hot tempeture have gone out.

The car is not even a year old... I find that kind of odd.... anyone else?

If they are LEDs, which I think they are, that is wierd. Its wierd either way, but LEDs can last almost indefinatly. Well, I guess its a trip to the dealer, should be covered under warrenty.

 

Are they actually out or very dim? Mine are dim which makes them kinda hard to see. Look again.

 

it;'s almost impossible for specific numbers/letters to go out, there aren't leds behind each one.. if a led blew out you would easily notice it since half or more of that gauge near the letter would be out

also the gauge cluster is only leds and no bulbs at all, i took mine apart the other night to check it out

there is about 19 white and 19 amber leds just to light up the MID lCD

 

You know what... I'm a dork.

Those letters are red... and I was wearing my sunglasses... in addition on a very bright day and I could not see the red. I think thats the first time I could not see them so I thought they were out.

Some of us color blind folk see them dim (or not at all). TEST: What color shirt am I wearing???
