A co-worker of mine has this problem on his 04' Maxima. When he showed me I thought to myself, "What a POS." I told him to go to the dealer and have them clean it out. That's what I would do If I had this problem. Man, I hope I won't have this problem.

This is a problem on my girlfriend's '03 Accord coupe, and to a lesser extent, on my TSX (presumably because I'm more vigilant about wiping the dust away).

Doesn't bother me too much, but it does look a little cheap. Maybe I'll see if the dealer will clean it out the next time I'm there. Although, that's just asking for them to scratch/damage the radio area so...

I noticed the dust also.. I poped out the center channel spkr and tried spraying some canned air at the back of the display. No dice. Since i was still cleaning i noticed some fuzz in between the climate control buttons and tried the air on that. it blew away some of the dust in the display :clown:

careful not to use the canned air on any lcd part. it may ruin it. i found that out when i used to work at a computer parts store. i was playing with canned air and blowing them on lcd monitors and it left a circle-looking stain. it cannot be removed, well at least all the things i tried didn't work.

How did you get the center speaker cover off? Does it just pry-up? I have a minor rattle under it some where...

Thanks

I used 2 small paper clips to pull the cover up. After that it just lifts out.

Thanks again!

So, once I have it removed, can I reach my arm in all the way over to the underside of the far left dash area...? I have a rattle there also... :clown:

Just thought I would ask :-)

Take care
