This girl at work is talking shit about my car, which annoys me because she doesn't know the difference between a I4 and v6. She claims her dad has modded her car for her with a "expensive chip," and she goes to the races every now and then and claims she beat an 06 mustang GT. Her car is an Auto Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, probably a 00, 01, or 02, not sure.

She wants to bet money between my car and hers, i have a TLP with every bolt on possible, and my RT high flow cat will be installed in a few days too before we race. Read the sig for my mods if you want.

With most of the bolt ons could that car take me? It doesn't look fixed up at all from the outside, sounds stock from the exhaust note, how much money should i bet and take from her?

hmm this might be a close one....ive messed around with GTPs on the highway and they hold their own but not enough to keep up with a stock type s. take her off the line...i bet ur a better driver

If she has any mods (i.e.: 3.2" pulley) and can drive then she may make short work of you. I have witnessed some GTPs (and their Regal GS brethren) running well into the 12s with bolt on mods.

u never know with an aftermarket ECU. they can make some power. don't take it lightly.

Some of those Pontiacs were supercharged, I think.
Ask her to show you what's under her hood.

gtp's are SC'd stock are 240HP and 280/tq. they are mid 6 sec car 0-60, a hair faster than a TL-P. Modded they can be very fast like F23A4 stated above. I would find out the mods she has first or you could get embarassed.

DOnt race for money if she's cute race for the booty..They can be quick though if modded correctly can get into the 13's easy. I havent been brave enough to run my boy's GTP yet he's mad at me cause I beat him recently in his M35X

she totally didn't race me tonight, she basically chickened out and claimed she "had no money" to bet me, i told her let's go for fun and she wouldn't....oh well, i'm sure i'd win, if i ever race the fat bitch i'll post the results.
