Driveline Vibration

i feel vibration when doing 60-65 and rpm's are right at 1500 (5AT tranny).

must be some sort of standing wave, hitting a resonant frequency at that rpm???

Downshift to 4th gear and see if it goes away. It doesn't in my car. There are some good threads about this issue, do a search and you will find lots of info.

Move the shifter to the left to put it in SS, then pull back once to put it in 4th gear.

If the vibration goes away, then the transmission running at 1500 rpm in 5th gear is probably the cause.

The Car Has A Major Problem. Three Sets Of Tires (now Turanza Ls-z) In First 2000 Miles And It Still Has Morning Cold Vibration And Warm Vibration 50-75. Many Posts On This Issue. Dealers Not Doing Anything. Seems To Be Auto Only. Arbitration Set For Next Week For Buyback. I Will Let Everyone Know How It Goes.

Auto only!? Yah, there are not too many 6MT 04TLers would cruise their car by 1500 RPM...

6MT guys hate to feel "lugging"...

I guess I drive like a grandpa - actually I do have two grandkids - but I often drive at around 1500 rpm when I am crusing. I always upshift for acceleration, and only run at that low an rpm with minmal or no power on. I have zero vibration in 4th or 5th. I "lugged" my car 1 or 2 times by accident and you are right - I hate that feeling.

8 4.57% Serious driveline vibration (I didn't get it at Day 1 or first hundreds of miles driving)
4 2.29% Serious vibration (too many vibrations, cannot really figure out where they are coming from)
