Door Unlock Programming?
Door Unlock Programming?
Does anyone know how to program the remote to unlock all doors every time, instead of having to press unlock twice? I went through the manual and couldn't find it. Is this even possible? I never understood why they created the "driver door unlock" feature. Why would you want to just unlock the driver's door and not all the doors? I'm not use to pressing the button twice because my previous cars never did that. So I keep forgetting and leaving my passengers waiting.

Why do they do it? it is a safety thing, if you open all doors, in a bad area, someone may jump in with you, this gives you the option.
My maxima had it with one door, than all, and also my friends BMW does one, then all, this is not uncommon for many systems I have seen, be thankfull that Acura gave you the option.

Yes, it is programed via the MID options, scroll through the options and it talks about the locks unloking one or all, select all.

All of the Chrysler products. (i.e. 300M, Concorde, Pacifica, Town and Country) plus the Grand Cherokees have the same functions.
At least they give you the option to set it up yourself now. 2000 model Chryslers and below, made this a dealer option. How's that for a cash cow? You could not do it yourself. You would take the car to the dealer, and for $50 they would toggle this using the service computer. (OBDII Unit)
