Adjustable Center Arm Rest

I love my TL, but the center arm rest was too far back, not perfectly positioned for my elbow like in my 2000 Maxima SE I traded. Anyway, my 6 year old was in the back seat and and said daddy watch this, he pushed the arm rest and it slide forward about 6 inches, just like it's supposed to.

Now It's perfect, you all probably already knew this, but just in case. Guess I better re-read the manual

Maybe the arm rest is stationary and the entire car moves backwards 6 inches??? Your son may have 'powers'...

I knew that because I saw a salesman do it. Gotta love kids... they make you feel stupid sometimes. Of course it's not like I can talk as I don't have any kids.

Of course your son found that out by pulling, tugging, pushing, and prodding your brand new car!

They are either excellent quality control testers, or demolition experts.

Our TSX has a sliding center arm rest. Please don't let my kids know about it so when we get our TL it will be ok (and the TSX will stay nice, too).
