Hey Guys! I have been looking for puddle light logo projectors for my 2008 Acura TL. Does anyone know where to find them. I am out of luck finding them online.

Those won't work on the 3G TL. Completely different.

Don't be a cheap-ass and end up doing it twice. Just buy the correct item the first time.

 

Sorry - picked up the first one where Acura was mentioned. Use search and you will find one dedicated for TL for the same price.

You don't believe that the one for 40-60$ in US differs from one for 10$ in china, do you? It is all piece of chinese sh.. 🙂

I ended up getting mine off Amazon and love them My friend had them on his Subaru and wanted them for my car. While he paid $15 for his, the only ones I could find for this car was $45. I did check back on Amazon after I purchased them to write a review, and it said they were no longer available at the time. They literally took about 10 seconds to install.

Quick Update! I ordered a 2-pack of LED projects lights from Prestige Auto Labs! It was $45 with Free Shipping. Delivered within 4 business days. They are really nice and I am definitely satisfied. They come three colors: White, Blue and Red

Talked to the chinese sellers. They said they didn't have this shape door lighting.
However if somebody wants to save few $ and is not afraid of DIY staff, there are still the logo projectors available for about 3$ or just those in the offer I linked.

Good to know!. My only complaint is that I wish the courtesy door LEDs were a bit cooler in color temperature though. I have 6,000K VLEDs all over my interior and these are more like 4,500-5,000K. You can see a noticeable difference between the white portion of the Acura logo and the LEDs on the door itself.

Maybe I'll have to do some retro-fit soldering in the near future.

 

Ordered these last night straight from Prestige for $45. Fairly sure coming in white as I didn't see a section for color selection? Which is fine (but would of liked red) unless I'm missing something here? I read somewhere that there are red, blue and white. Do all 3 color options come? Sorry if that's a silly question, I have gone back to the site and tried to make another order (just to see) and I see nothing about a color option to choose...

IMO if you really want red, return the ones you just bought and order the slightly more expensive ones in the color you're after.

 

Talk about your all time things working out...I called Prestige last night and in fact the $45 white ones are back ordered. But the guy is sending me the red ones that are $61.75 for what I paid ($45!) Christmas spirit maybe lol? But I messed up and should maybe have tried to get 2 sets for $45 each for my 07 and 08 Type S. I'd call the guy back, but the red ones already shipped this morning so I would hate to sound needy or greedy and impose on his kind gesture. Thoughts? I mean I would still buy another set for my 2nd car for $61.75, but would he do $45 again...or should I just he happy he was willing to cut me this deal.. Kinda like it never hurts to ask vs don't be a jerk and impose. I'm just glad I called them or I would have been waiting until Feb I think he said. Plus it does sound like the set that is coming is a better quality..

Personally, I'd count that as a small win and move on. He's cutting you a deal for greater than 25% on this item. If you call back, you would sound greedy in my opinion. Plus, you already mentioned that you'd be willing to buy another Red set for full price anyways. Why not help out this company and just order another set? Just my two cents...

 

I'm reading on the website and it sounds like V1 is $45 and V2 is $61.25 but uses an etched glass logo instead of a film like in V1. Hmmm, now I'm wondering which ones I have. My car is in storage for the winter, so it's too hard to check right now. But based on the sharp cutoff lines I have, I would have to imagine it's the etched lens.
