My door isn’t working when I try to lock and unlock from the inside buttons
the red light indicator for the security system doesn’t light up
my key fob doesn’t work also
but when I hit the lock and unlock from the passenger side it unlocks and locks all the doors
Anything helps

 

aslo key fob doesn’t work to open the trunk
i opened up the door I don’t see anything wrong with connections
i checked the fuses and they’re all good
not sure what it could be was working earlier today
took off battery terminals and after that it wouldn’t work

 

The door lock actuator is likely bad.. either that or one of the door sensors are malfunctioning causing your car to think there is an open door so it doesn't lock.

 

gonna run some test and hopefully it is the actuator going to the junk yard today can’t be more than 10

 

So it’s not the sensor that thinks the door is open I checked that and it feels like the whole lock and unlock for that one door is dead when I lock or unlock with passenger door the actuator works on the driver door
There was something that got my attention when I have the lights on and the door open it makes a sound but when I hit the the lock or unlock on the door it stops for about 2 seconds then it comes back up again and I did the same to the passenger door but it just unlocked the door without stopping the sound
