searching is your friend. You can pretty much guess that you dont have to do step 1 or 2 to get to the tensioner/idler for the drive belt.

they have a computer lounge which is where I spent most of the day. also their own cafeteria. you could probably ask for a shuttle to the hamilton mall.

That's because of their insurance. Ever wonder why insurance premiums for drivers under age 25 are so high?

There's enough in the customer waiting area to keep you occupied for the few hours it's gonna take anyway. Food cafe, PC's with high speed internet, big screen TV's with Verizon FiOS, etc.

Just got home! Great service and they did an amazing Job. I love this dealer. Got the timing belt package done with tensioners came out to $497. Also did my motor mounts, they only charged me for the part and not the labor. Just my side mount was bad $127. While Acura told
Me both front and side were bad and wanted $789 did my spark plugs (269.99) and valve adjustment( $298.50)

Total came out to $991.25 with a 20% discount

I recommend this dealer to everyone.

Glad to hear all went well. For the valve adjustment was it something you asked them to do or did they say you needed it done? Just curious as some on the forum have done this and some have not. Thanks.

I asked them about a valve adjustment when I was there. They said do it only if they're making noise. Fortunately, mine weren't, and they're still not 18,000 miles later!

Mine's aren't making any noise, but debating what to do. Not sure if I want to deal with it later or just get it done. Does it matter?

If you go through your insurance, they will give you a loaner if you're 21 or older. I've done it before.

Had my timing belt done today at Hamilton. Sal is the man. Unfortunately they found a leak in my power steering pump but didnt have the parts in stock to fix it. They recommended going to a local Acura dealer to fix. Anyone from NYC who can recommend a dealer? Anyone go to Rallye Acura? There are some mixed opinions.

Manhattan and Rallye are both known to be reputable dealers. Whatever you do, avoid Paragon in Queens and Acura of Brooklyn like the plague.
