Does the a-spec kit make your wheels looks smaller?

Is it just me or did your wheels look smaller after putting the a-spec kit on? Especially from the rear? I have 19's and I'm pretty low, but looking at it now, I can imagine it being a size bigger.

Oh and my wheels have a lip, which could add to the smaller look effect.

Interestingly, someone has made that comment about my stock 17's after I've installed my kit. They thought the wheels were 16's or 15's.

When you add to the body you're going to make the wheels appear smaller. Without the kit the wheels are more exposed and look larger. Without a bodykit 18s look at home. If you have a body kit, to cure the problem you need 19s and lower your car. Look at the so many who've done it, they're wheels look perfect. aznbo your issue is probably the lip, always makes it look 1" smaller than it is.

If your going to have a lip you need to have 20's. 19's look good, flat faced but not with a lip. So in my opinion to me any wheel smaller than 19 look small on our car. I love the look of the stock rims, wish they made 19's in the same style.

Yeah, I love the look of the stock rims as well, I just wish the Moda R6 would fit the brembo brakes. I guess it's time for a change of shoes? I thought I remember you had 20's right? But then I remember you had the a-spec wheels too...do you have any pics?

I thought that the A-Spec kit made my stock 17s look too small; that's why I went up to 18s. The kit probably makes your 19s look smaller, but I'm sure not TOO small. Give it some time before going to 20s.
