I bought an Acura TL 2008 at a car auction and should be here tomorrow. I should know better when I saw worn seats but it is as is. Car has 330K. Do front and rear seats fit from 2g type S to 3g regular (non-S). Also, one wheel is spare tire and if I can use Acura 2003 tl S tire/wheel that would be nice. Obviously need to see if the car will work at all. I did start it with a jumper machine at impound lot but didn't move it. It is missing brake fluid, and no antifreeze visible in coolant but may be ok. Oil at dipstick look nice as is transmission fluid color.
Actually, I was at auction on Thursday and did bump in this 2008 TL. Didn't read sign of worn seats. Paid 850 plus 25 $ tax plus 200 for 2 keys. Will let go my Acura tl 2003. I hope someone will buy it and put tranny in. It has 312K. Actually, I tried today to sell 2008, yeah changed mind, was beside it at impound lot. But none of the 2 customers bought it. I wasn't capable of starting the car while jumping from car albeit key guy started it with jumping machine.

 

One more guy called me. Will give him a chance to buy 2008 and will call tow after him but he needs to bring jumping machine. I just cannot get apart from my TL 03 without fighting. Mechanic said he would put AV6 in for 900$ for his hand and tranny, used, I would buy from junkyard for 500$. May see problem there. What if tranny do not work? Mechanic, a Chinese, can just say it is tranny bad. I just cannot get apart from my TL 03 without fighting. If will go to the car haven I will take a photo of me kissing goodbye to the princess.

 

Are any of the salvage yards below near you?
Call them up to inquire as to what kind of warranty is offered, to cover yourself, and pay the Chinese dude to swap it in.

Beside transmission is gone at my 2g passenger side of front subframe is rusted.

 

Beside what is visible in that photo my subframe is completely cracked at yellow pointer, upper part of frame is cracked and red pointer plate is completely detached from frame.

 

I am guessing no, seats won't fit without a LOT of custom, expensive work.

 

 

I cannot do it at the parking lot of the building. And would mechanic charge me probably 2k just for hands.

 

Somewhere at the end of that street is a car haven. When will my time be a picture of my baby will go with me beside others. Seriously will try to find someone who want put tranny and rear frame. Will first check U pull price and if some mechanic gives me same or up to 100$ less will give car to him.

 

Did sent this line to Acura USA. They should use it for advertising.

Well posted at Facebook that I'm selling my Acura tl 2003 with bad transmission and broken frame and with good sound system for 275 + 150 for sound system and was surprised with number of offers. Like dose in 1 hour. How many guys are good with cars? Well, my babe will live, just not with me.
