just take to a car upholstery place and get them to re-do the seats. get them to add more padding and cooling/massage to them too.

been thinking about this lately since my dog scratched up my leather . How much modification was needed to fit the CL-S seats? I can't seem to locate kman's thread. Do you guys think the rear seats would fit as well?

The TL-P seats are different than the TL-S seats are you trying to replace the TL-P seats and if so i would suggest Putting the 02 TL-S seats in the TL-P much more comfortable. Also the rear headrest's in the TL-S are so comfortable. i don't know about the CL-S rear seats though.

njzprettyboy has CL (not sure if they're Type S) seats in his TL. On AW, I asked him if they needed any crazy modifications to fit them in and he said:

hm, interesting. wonder if the 3rd gen rear seats will fit. I'm surprised no one has gone with an aftermarket option yet.

Does anyone here know how much a pair of CL-S seats, preferably in black, would run from a scrap yard or something of the sort?

i would just get them off of ebay or go to a honda recycler. the problem with getting leather from a scrapyard is it will probably need to be repaired. but for the integra leather seats were about 500$ for the whole set. (remember for an integra) so i would double if not tripple that cost.

We are talking about the 3rd gen seats. Also the TL-P seats are to most, more comfortable than the type-s seats.

You guys need to use the search button. the CL seat and TL-S seat swap has been discussed/tried/done

If the 3rd gen seats fit, I would would try for the 07 TL-S, I like the two tone for some reason.

Off topic, but fsttyms1, I like the new avatar, very cool. Looks almost like Batman from the SNES games.

What would installing a cooling system in the seats entail? I've been thinking about it for a while now, but don't want to compromise comfort for cooled seats. I thought about tapping the air ducts that run through the center console and running some vents through the cushion, but that's just an accident waiting to happen. Using a chill mat would work but it would have to be easily removable in the winter and I don't know if having that under the seat would affect the SRS system at all. Hell even placing a couple 120mm CPU case fans inside the foam of the seat back would be nice for some air flow, just hook them to a potentiometer to adjust speed.

It's too tempting to not at least attempt something, especially here with the Texas heat in the summer, not too bad this year but my back still ends up sticking to the seat.

Any other ideas? Sorry for straying off topic.

I would say just cap and reduct the floor vent under the seat to the seats so you get that cooling effect. just use accordian syle vent. you know the one that scrunches up kind of like a dryer duct. thats how i would do it.

Saw this when I got in my car a few days ago. It was in the shade.

Routing the A/C to the seats doesn't seem like a bad idea...
