Does the Cargo Net come with the TL?
Is it just my luck or does the 04 TL comes with a cargo net, my wife was reading the manual she said I think we have a cargo net were the spare tire is because in the manual it does'nt list it as a option, so I went to check if it was true and sure enough their it was so if your sales person said that I will throw in a cargo net for free well it shoud be free.
Correct, comes standard! 2 of them, one for accross the back (multiple mounting postions, other for the side.
Not the easiest to figure out though, I think the large one is designed to fit flat on the floor, but I have mine seperating the rear of the trunk and front of the trunk (it is folded over to do this and items can be kept inside of it.

Figured them out on my own, even dealership asked to see how I installed them.
Mine net came hidden on top of the spare tire.
I have the trunk plastic mat, so it's harder to install, because the black buttons are hidden underneath the mat.
It's like a puzzle, I like challenges!

Photos of net install
Here are the photos, note on the 5th one, a pocket is formed on the side net, which could have been a tall net instead if I hooked it to the top stub.
Note, there is no right or wrong, this is just how I hooked them up, even the main net could be reversed where the low end is towards the opening instead of the seats. (note the large net is folded in half and forms a "V" to place things in and seperates front and rear portions of the trunk.
One other thing, if you are keeping a tool kit, or something else in the trunk all the time, use the plastic portion of the velcro and stick it to the object, it sticks VERY well to the carpet, and will NOT move!

Thanks for the effort
Thanks for the pics! I totally missed the fact there is a place to hook the nets on the ceiling of the trunk!!!!
That's why I have "extra" hooks on my cargo net.
Hmmm. Let's try it again. I can do this....

What is under that cover on the right side of the trunK? I don't have one in my non-NAV car.

With optional trunk mat , you have to slice button hole at each of the rounded indentations on the mat. It's nice because it keeps the mat in place. Note: Just slice once and then pull the button through like you would a shirt button.

Thank you very much. I was trying how to figure how to do it with my trunk tray.
need4spd, side net
I'm not sure, but I installed my side net a bit differently without the part on top. This triangular part I positioned vertically towards the front of the trunk to block a gap where the wheel well is.

I use my pocket to store stuff, so what ever works for you.
GOOD JOB
Any other alternatives are welcome!

The admins aren't allowing photos to be posted within the thread anymore unless you're hosting them elsewhere. Makes sense, since it probably reduces the amount of traffic significantly.
Stupid question about the Cargo Net...
How the heck does is mount? I have one long net with six hook points and one mini net with five hook points?
How are they suppose to be hooked in and/or positioned? Especially the mini one?
I've re-built wiring harnesses and re-assembled motors and yet, I can't figure this out.

lol. don't be ashamed to ask a question. people ask questions about stuff all the time. everyone's here to help everyone else. the only thing is do a search because someone could have asked the question already.
So I guess since the gallery is not up, I can't see anything.
Would someone (if they have them) email the pics to me at... BlackSunshine@Acura-TL.com
I would appreciate it.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
There are no stupid questions here, just other TL owners trying to help each other out, and enjoy their great sports sedans.
