WTF! That's actually strangely cool!

BUT not very practical...

Imagine trying to open your doors after you've been driving in a foot of snow and it's plastered against the sides...all that crap will get shoved inside that compartment along with the door. Or get in your car in a downpour, and watch your entire interior get soaked when you open the door.

And I don't know about you guys, but personally I like an armrest, some switches, and storage pockets on MY doors.

And what about after an accident? No crowbar will force that door open!

But it sure is a neat "Jetsons" gadget.
