Do you pull the steering wheel all the way out?

I just looked it up. I did not know that (or remember that).

I think I set mine (with or without the telescope adjustment, I don't know) 3 1/2 years ago and have just left it the same ever since.
Thanks for mentioning it.
Did you find out because you're one of those guys that puts their seat base all the way back and reclined, and are basically behind the B pillar?

No, I didn't know that, so I haven't moved the wheel since I bought it.

Although because of a rattle I get when I get >75mph I always end up putting the adjustment lever down. It's obnoxious especially when I try to drive with my knee for a second and the wheel moves. It's probably not safe but I can't find the source of the rattle and it drive me crazy.

And yes it is unsafe.

Really-you guys didn't know this? Like Bearcat, I set mine years ago and I just "set it and forget it"!
It's a shame it's not part of the setting for the seat settings. The Cadillac CTS seat and steering wheel move away when the car is turned off to make it easier for the driver to get out of the car.

I adjusted mine when I bought the car in 2004 (fiddled a bit until it was comfortable, and if memory serves I used both the tilt and the telescope in the course of doing so) and have never moved it since then.
I got married this summer and IF my wife ever drives the car I'm sure I'll have to adjust the wheel then since she's about a foot shorter than I am.
Agreed for precisely the reason noted in my second paragraph above. If more than one person drives the car, it's nice to have the wheel move to the correct position for each driver.

... oh and yes, I do have my steering wheels set to be all the way out ... and I'm not tall (5'9")
I had no idea. I remember adjusting it when I bought the car new but I've never touched it since. I don't know if I knew at one time and forgot or never knew. Now I'm going to play with it.
I find the most comfortable position to be with my seat at a 95-100 degree angle, and the steering wheel at the lowest and furthest point out. I guess the S2000's unadjustable seating position rubbed off on me lol

....thanks guys!
Still finding things out 2 years later.
