Do you Dodge when you drive?

Those of you with Kits on ur cars or have had ur cars lowered, do u look out for potholes and changes of the pavement level? I remember with my old car i used to swerve like crazy and my friends do the same when they see potholes or know they're coming. My cuzin, with his 350z would even back up sometimes to avoid messing up his $4k kit. Just wanted to know what extremes you guys went to.

I have a stock TL with no drop yet and I dodge all potholes and rough pavement when possible.

I loved Dodgeball......

I have an A-Spec kit on my car and I don't worry so much about this, I do avoid larger potholes but that's about it.

I cracked a rim (17") on a pothole in my Bonneville. Looked like someone had started to tear it in half. There was no external evidence of damage; I only found out due to the tire pressure monitor. The guy at the tire place said it was a good thing I found out when I did as it might have led to a major accident at speed since it was one of the front wheels.

I'm not sure what the original post says with all this "u" and "ur" and "cuzin," but from the other posts, I gather it's something about avoiding potholes. Who DOESN'T try to avoid potholes when possible?

Just admit it, you are getting old!! As you can't even understand what hese youngins are saying these days!!

"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball" !! "Thunk"

Small potholes, not really, big ones, of course. I park a foot off of any curb. There are certain speed bumbs I can go fast over and there are some I can't, I don't go over them sideways ( had to in my Prelude, it was only 3-4 inches off the ground ). With a A-spec lip on the car you would want to be carfull, as it drops the nose a couple of inches.

I had a friend warp the lip of a rim running over one of the white path markers that run down the road.

i lowered my car 2 inches at the front and 2 1/4 at the rear. not only do i gotta look out for potholes, but so many other things. it took me a good week to get used to telling how much of an incline can i go up or down on without scraping. that little palstic piece for air under my car is like 1 inch off the ground so it scrapes any chance it gets.

Off topic: would u guys reccomend i get a camber kit; also, i bent a wheel b4 i got my teins, its a real small bend visible from the other side of the wheel, which makes the tire pressure drop to around 10psi in after a few days...what do u suggest i do?

Если это приемлемо для этих детей объявить в тарабарщине, которая не имеет никаких отношений на английский язык, то я предполагаю, что это приемлемо для остальной части нас, чтобы использовать безотносительно языка, мы думаем, является соответствующим.

This is so very true. For those that are having a hard time figuring it out.
First hint, its Russian. Figure it out and post back.

I'm a pothole dodging freak. A few years ago with my first TL, I was driving home from the bar (which has nothing to do with why this story happened) in the rain at night. It had been raining for days and the road was wet and you could see where puddles were, but not really if they were potholes or not. Well, I hit one and thought my teeth fell out. I was about a mile from home and when I got out of the car, both of my right side tires were toast. Couldn't get anything from my insurance company. The next day, the town I was in put a traffic cone in the pothole that ate up half the cone. They wouldn't do $hit either. I probably would have put up more of a fuss, but I miraculously survived any wheel damage. Potholes suck.

I too love Dodgeball, so I will leave my favorite quote:

"You're as useless as a cock-flavored lollipop!" - Patches O.

If it is comprehensible to these children to declare in gibberish which has no attitudes(relations) on English language I assume, that it is comprehensible to other part of us to use irrespectively language, we think, is corresponding.

damn cryillic characters, best i could do

That's about the best the online translation services will do. I essentially said that if it is acceptable for these children to post in gibberish that bears no relation to English, then I assume it is acceptable for the rest of us to use whatever language we want. So I posted it in Russian to further the point.

Enough from the grammar police. The point has been made and is now becoming redundant, so back to the discussion at hand, whatever that was.
