Do u guys think I should do this?
For the service B, they (dealer) suggested me to do the OIL FILTER replacement,
ENGINE AIR FILTER replacement, and AC FILTER replacement.
Do u guys think it is necessary to do it for a 25000km car?
(I didn't do it today, coz I was not sure if it was necessary.)
PS: they really did a very nice job today: fast and also gave me a TSX to use
during the service, there was a Big different from last time I did the service.

Its your call.
Filters are cheap and useful, although lots of air filters are replaced well before
they need to be.
I replace my filters when they look fairly dirty, that winds up being about
once a year.
Some places are much more dirty than others...

it's your call, if you check the acura owner's link it says to check and replace air filter at around 16K i think. how much are they charging you for replacing those items? the air filter you can diy as it's a piece of cake. the pollen filter is a little more tricky as you have to take apart the glove box. but these are normal wear and tear items so they should be replaced either now or next service visit. when you say oil filter you mean gas filter right? the oil filter should be replaced everytime you change your oil. the gas filter however doesn't get replaced that often , at least not for me.

Assuming you buy TOTL filters and Oil I would see no problem with the MID, now if you are using that 49 cence a quart stuff and just hosing off your filters then, ya, the MID is somewhat useless. If you are running mobil 1, using fram extended life filters, etc, you should be perfectly fine going by the MID.

I never understand the "MID is crap" comments. I use it for oil changes and whatever else. I don't see why Acura would deliberately program a useless feature into their car when a bunch of people are going to use it. Whatever oil Acura puts into my TL is fine with me. If the darn thing ever fails because of oil problems, guess who's going to pay to fix it? Not me!

Well you can probalby put the air filters in yourself, without needing a lift or making a mess. I am not srue where the AC filter thing is, If I werent so lazy I would check my service manual(its a pdf and there are no bookmarks), the airbox location should be obvious though.
