Angry Dirt Under The Paint

My new Silver 6sp TL has dirt unter the paint- large pices in many locations on different parts of the car. I can't believe it pased QC but I have an appointment with the factory rep this month to inspect it. I'm sure they will want to repaint the car which I don't want to do. Any other people discover this problem? Any suggestions.

Under the paint or under the clear coat?

My 02 SSM had the same problem.... i did not notice it because i picked it up in the rain...after two re paints they got it right...this should not be happening on a new car.

Yep, if you read my 11 day review, yep I tell you I found 8 paint defects.

Includes dirt under clear coat and some under paint.

How are you going to resolve this? I will not accept a repaint of a brand new car!

The paint on my 02 TL-S wasn't too hot either. There was orange peel, thin spots, and some dirt. I left it alone because the cure could have easily been worse than the problem. If you're not leasing, you could take a big resale hit with a totally repainted car. I had an MDX too, and its paint was much better than the TL. They both chipped way too easily though.

I'm going to do nothing except make Acura aware of it, no re-paints for me, they are minor and ONLY I see them when I wax the car! not worth the re-paint process. Every car has at least 2 paint issues according to a good friend in the autobody buisness.
