Difficulty of Installing Fog Bulbs?
I was thinking about changing up my foglight bulbs. Before I do the research and buy new bulbs I wanted to know the difficulty of changing the bulbs. I feel like the drivers side is a pain to get to? Any help? Thanks
According to the owner's manual, pages 213-214, it is just a matter of removing one or two of the plastic engine compartment covers, removing the electrical connector from the bulb, removing the bulb, and then installing the new bulb, etc.
I haven't actually changed the bulbs, but removing the covers is easy. Just be sure to pull them straight upwards so you don't break the plastic pegs.

The bulb removal/install is quiet easy...I did it last night. On the passenger side, its just a matter of removing the plastic covering on that side. On the drivers side, you have to remove the plastic cover that goes over the battery, and then you will find a hard plastic triangle shaped cover. You remove that by pulling out the two clips that connect it to the body of the car, and you then have access to the fog light bulbs.
The spots that the bulbs are located in are quite small, so if you have really large hands, it may be difficult to do all the work.
BTW, I tried a couple of high end foglight buld replacements (wanted a more yellow look), and finally found that the brightest, most yellow bulbs were also the cheapest. I got the Nokya (I think thats how its spelled) bulbs that claim a "70 Watt look), but are only 55W bulbs (close to stock so no wiring harness issues). I will post pics tonight.

VTEC-Funny, I just was ready to order Nokya's-I have had great experience with them. I found them online for $28. I think I was gonna try the Nokya Blues, I have seen them before and they are very similar to our HID Bulbs (not as bright obviously). How do the yellows look?

I put PIAA HB4 extreme white. It is running at 51w as recommended by the manual. The color is very close to lowbeam Xenon lights with a slight hint of yellow. My bulbs came with one year burnout warranty from PIAA.

As for the Nokya's, my buddy owns a shop and I always laughed at people buying that brand thinking that the bulbs were cheap and shi**y quality, and here I am, a big fan
