Angry Mr Clean, cont.

Tried mr clean again now doing it in sections. It was even worse! The problem lies in that the soap dries very quickly leaving the worst spotting issues ever. To make matters worse, The "sheeting action" prevents your wax from repelling water,so next time it rains evey fragment of muck on the road will stick like glue to your paint. to get rid of the atrocious result, I washed the car again with cheapo turtle wax soap and dried it with an Absorber in half the time it took me to do the Mr. Clean treatment!
Conclusion: Mr clean is a POS rip off! I'm getting my money back! :tflamer:

I definitely would avoid this product. If you're into washing and waxing your car this product is the enemy. The sheet/film it leaves on your car will pretty negate any waxing/detailing work you've done. If your car is washed and waxed regularly the water will roll right off it after you wash it, so drying it should be cake.

Tried it - mostly because the product came out about the same time I bought my car and I was shopping for car car products. It hasn't worked out. I still have to dry my car to prevent spots, and I can dry the car much faster with a towel than spraying it down with filtered water and watching it dry. I also don't like having to wait for my car to dry if I am going to wax it. The static on my finish after I wash it attracts dust. Finally, the filter and soap are much more expensive than good bottle of car wash soap.

I thought it would make washing my four vehicles less of a chore...wrong, it takes longer and the results are poor. There are much better products like the absorber and perhaps the blade that cut down on the time and do a better job.
