Difference in part numbers between model years?

I have an 05 and recently, my center console arm rest was replaced.

My car's leather is ebony... a dark, smooth black leather. The replacement part I got was more of a textured, charcoal leather... more like the 08 TL leather.

Now, when I complained, all the parts guy said was that there was only one part number and that batches of leather are never the same. OK, fine... but the color difference was VERY apparent. I do have the part numbers that were put in my car but not with me at the moment. I will post them when I get home..

Anyway, is there a difference in part numbers between an 05 arm rest and an 08 one?

05 - ARMREST, CONSOLE *NH167L* (LEA)

08 - ARMREST, CONSOLE *NH167L* (LEA)

OK... so it looks like they are the same.

For this purpose, I used black interior both times. However, I did notice when shopping for the 05, it gave me black and camel interior. The 08 gave me a few other options, but I'm not sure that there were other options?

So I guess I kind of left your original question unanswered...lol

I guess I would just goto acura.com, check out their store. The part is listed as interior/bumper > rear console. I believe it was part # 11 (05) and part # 14 (08)

its not only the cows, the leather fade and the color alters with time, plus every cow's butt doesn't have the same grain...

This is because you condition your leather, read the bottle "May cause leather to darken with use" Lexol has this written on it....
