I posted a few days ago that I bought my TL in Nov. of last year. And because of that, I had the "first" edition, 3.30D. As of Dec - Jan, the "F" version replaced it.
I felt that being I bought the car 1-2 months earlier, I should get the updated version.
Called Custermer Service and they came back with an answer, that the ONLY difference in the "D" and the "F", is a change made to incorperate the BACK UP SENSORS, onto the disk.
Does that sound legit?

 

It's possible, from my talkings with Acura it sound slike they come out with NAVI map updates as little as once a year.....try looking it up on a search here

 

Usually toward the year end is when they come out with the "updated" disc. That`s why I was wondering what the difference could be, and should I inquire about it

 

I have the oldest Navi DVD, too, and called to ACS and Acura Navi Division in Dec. about their new update DVD. Both of them said that D & F are identical.

IMO, they seemed to tell the different stories, I guess 99.99% of map info should be the same. Normally, they produce the new "version" Navi DVD each quarter. What's the current version? "G"?

I wish Acura will announce the really new DVD update schedule in the following months.
