Did a thing today

Decided to clean my engine bay. It was long over due. I know is all plain stock black but I like it.

Simple and clean

You should consider adding how you did it & what products you used

SO I used my go to car wash in my engine bay Eagle Grit, Its a smaller company out in Manteca California. Its a great product. After its all cleaned up I then chase it with AMSOIL Mudslinger. Its not made for this application but it should be. Looks good and makes the next clean up easier.

The headlight cleaning kits are available for sale on amazon or in Walmart.

You could also use cheap white toothpaste and baking soda and buff it but it doesn’t work as well.

Some people use a series of wet sanding grits to polish out the imperfections by hand.

For those interested in 'lens rehab', here's a pretty good example. I like the 2-part clear coat he recommends after doing all that work.
