will do, before the nov. so cali meet. schedule is so hectic right now. trying to get projects finished before vacation, doing xmas shopping before vacation, and trying to get ready for vacation - plus this weird weather we're having is not helping either

Stupid. People take off badges to FOOL people into thinking they have smaller engines. For instance in Europe, people debadge their 600 Benz so they can fool people who think its a S350 or so.

Debadging a TL is pointless, since it only has one engine.

thats how the history of debadging began...it wasn't "STUPID" people who did this...its just a way for the drivers to have an even shot at a race....as for debadging the TL...its not pointless because people don't always debadge just because of what you said...people also debadge for looks....because the NBP TL without the ACURA and the TL look very good

Well, I personally did not debadge mine, it was already debadged when I bought it, but it looks better to me.........SEXIER!!!

With that said I think that people who disguise or cover up what they have in order to beat someone in a race is STUPID.
What satisfaction can you get from racing someone in a car that you clearly have the advantage in.

If I get a Mustang Saleen and debadge it all and go looking for races against other stock mustangs, I haven't accomplished much.
It doesn't take any skill to press that gas pedal.

However, if you race someone with an equal car and you can beat em then your the shit.

That's just my opinion.

This of course does not apply if the other comes looking for it.
Then again why even waste your time?
Is the risk worth bragging rights over an inferior opponent?

Yeah you should leave the A-spec on.

What pipes did you put on there?

What's it sound like now?

Thanks 1sweetTL! Much appreciated! I kind of thought that too on the A-spec badge...and it is kind of small too. There is Comptech exhaust on there......here is somebody elses stock soundbite I found.....not the greatest though.....it is in this thread here in the Pic section....

You'll probably have some trouble getting all the adhesive off. I'd pull it into a garage and heat it up with a hairdryer for a bit at least.

Not optimal, but yes. Make sure you clean the area where the badges were once you get em off, and apply some wax to protect the paint.

Ya I might do mine tomorow. It's 36 degrees F, so not to cold by Canadian standards lol. You'd think doing it in the mild weather, while the car is wet, would be best, as the adhesive wouldnt be so hot from the summer heat. Am I wrong?
