To debadge or not to debadge?
Do it! Here's mine with the all red tails. I think it looks much cleaner and give the rear-end a new look! Sorry about the small pic, but it was the best one I had of the rear!

I used dental floss to debadge mine. Heat up the letters with a blowdryer, then use a sawing motion behind each letter until they come off. Just make sure you clay the car or use some kind of adhesive remover after you're finished to remove the residue; otherwise there will be an outline of the letters if the car gets dirty.
Doesn't feel or look cluttered to me. Sure it looks clean debadged, but it also doesn't look messy with it badged.
Personal preference really..I keep mine on. Only thing I opted to NOT have on, was the dealer decal. Get that sh*t off my car!

^ - I would imagine it is better to do that to limit the contrast between the covered and uncovered paint? I didn't have too much of a problem but I took the badges off my friends G35 three years after he had the car and the paint had faded enough to see the difference
Lighter colors don't seem to fade enough for that to be a problem in my experience. It also depends on the manufacturer's paint and your local environment I would imagine. I only just took mine off my '04 and there was no contrast at all - just tossed some goo-gone at it and all was well
I just got mine debadged today... considering not alot of people in atlanta do modifications like this, I had all the mechanics at the dealership wanting to do it to theirs. It looks awesome! And to make it better, the depot Type-S rep's (totally approved) on ebay are going for nearly half the price of the OEMs!! Ill post pics soon... but its cheap and a must!

If I had a TL-S I would keep mine on too.
I agree that any dealer decal needs to be taken off IMMEDIATELY, but on the subject of debadging... IMO I think the "acura" and the "tl" looks good, and isnt too clustered. With debadging, i think it looks to plain and feels like it needs something there.
You should ask yourself this question cause nobody will have the same opinion.
I suggest that you do it (be carefull not to scratch the paint) and then see if you like it, then nothing can hold you to put them back on!!!

+1-on all accounts.
I feel like removing them makes it feel more symmetrical but then again it doesnt look bad with them either.

- yes, I realize it is a Japanese car
Those decals are hideous, and I don't want my car to advertise for the dealer (even if they are good).
