DC metro area tint

Does anyone know of a good place to get your windows tinted in the DC metro area? I have TL with navi. Someone suggested California Tint. Has anyone gotten it done or have any suggestions of other places?

Hey, another DCer! Sorry, don't know about the tinting but if you find out something let me know! I live in the Woodbridge area and commute to DC every day. Do you know what the tinting "laws" are? Thanks!

it's 50% on the front windows and 35% in the back.

i'm thinking of just getting 35% all around.

Got mine done at California Tint in Great Falls. $220. for 35% sides and rear (yes, it's legal for me now, got a sunshade waiver from DMV!) So far, no problems with scratching. They use 3M SunTek film there. Took them a little over 2 hours.

Got mine done in Glenn Burnie @ HP Racing, they also did my Clear Bra. I had the moleskin installed afterwards as 2 of the windows scratched. I bought from the guy seeling it here and then installed when they retinted the windows. I got 20% all around. I have had no problem yet with it being to dark, I work in Mclean and commute from So MD everyday.

Dutchml or criss, do both of you have navi? Have you seen any problems with your tint? Duchhml, how did you get the sunshade waiver?
I'm also worried about the scratching.

I've got nav and it hasn't affected it at all. So far, no problems with scratching but I've ordered the moleskin kit anyway. Got the sunshade waiver by filling out a form printed off from the DMV website and had my wife's doctor sign it. (She has a history of skin cancer).

There is a place that does it for $100 (125 w/ sunroof) in capital heights. I've gotten about 10 cars done there and they're always on the dot. It's Atlantic Tinting...look them up

I got mine done at LA tint in sterling. I got the darkest tint that was legal in VA. I ended up paying 270. I purchased the millenium tint which was the best availabe film..
