Day time running lights swap?

Thinking about changing my DRL to a white bulb, I believe its the 9005 HB, I tried to research this but every time I hit the search button it brings me to the TL forums, think my comp is messed up, it use to pop up all the threads that were related to the topic... anyway, has anyone had problems ? is it a plug and play? or do I need a wire kit of some sort?
thx in advance

Well if you want a different color then...buy a different color bulb? Ebay, amazon, etc. I have the nokya yellow ones. cheapo ebay stuff $16 a pair. no issues, had them over a year.

No, not sure what a decoder kit is? They are just bulbs, you take the old ones out and put the new ones in.

The original bulbs should be white already? What exactly are you changing and trying to accomplish? Are you putting in LEDs?

Yes led drl will require more than just changing the bulb-you'll want to read up for more info. There is tons of threads on this already.

Check out ijdmtoy and vleds.com for their TL wire harness includes 2 in line resistors and a 9005 wire harness. I just bought my vled harness and will be doing a DIY soon (hopefully this weekend)
