In the picture, #1 and #2 are called face, front (or rear) bumper, but they are also sometimes called bumper covers, but we all call them bumpers because that is the term we are most familiar with.

How did you damage the bumper? Is it cracked or dented? I accidentally dented mine a few months back and was able to warm the bumper and it popped back out.

The cracks are not fixable, but if there is no paint damage on the dents try warming the bumper with a work light or hair dryer ... you can get the surface real hot (think middle of the summer hot) but don't cook it. Do this a few times at night, and the dents may work themselves out. Mine were gone with just winter sun after 2 weeks.

Bumper Repair

The cracks are definitely fixable. You just need to know what to use. If there are cracks in the actual plastic you can get a 2 part epoxy made specifically for bumper repair. You sand the area smooth and widen the crack to give the epoxy a place to go and grab onto. After it dries it will be hard as a rock. At this point you can sand it down smooth, spray flexible primer over the area, sand that smooth, wash the area with plenty of water, let it dry, spray your basecoat color custom matched for your car, and finally spray your clearcoat with clear coat blender. This will give you a professional repair without going to a bodyshop and spending $500 to get it fixed. It makes for a nice DIY for all you weekend warriors out there.
