ddmtuning.com has lifetime warranties on their HID kits, but I heard their shipping is slow. Search "sylvania bulb guide" on google and it will tell you the size of every bulb in your car.

The 06 TL does not have DRL's. Are you talking about the fog lights? If so, go with a 35 watt, 5000K kit and 9006 bulb

I guess they would be the fogs then!! But what would match the projectors better the 4300k or the 5000k? I really would like them to be as close as possible to them so it doesn't look funny!!!!

def about the fog lights. fog lights are the ones in the inside of the main lights right? random question is it just a plug and play with putting HIDS in those? not really a Lights person

HIDs in your DRLs aren't worth it, imo.
You do not get the entire color benefit from the HID as the DRL will be running at 50% power... which results in 50% loss of light output [and some color].
You're better off getting some PIAA or Nokya white bulbs, imo.

I agree with o4Komodo, they won't look too good. I'd rather send them off to JNC and get a quad-angel eyes setup done (or Quad projector).

You can check out our vendors for a HID kit. HIDextra.com (a vendor), has sold hundreds if not thousands of bulbs and kits, and they run specials throughout the month (check Black Market Section: Sponsored Sales). I bought my pair of bulbs a year ago, and they are still running strong and still look great.

DDM is a great company with many of happy customers. TONS of people over at SVTperformance have ordered them for our Lightnings, Cobra's, etc and have been happy. Yes, shipping can be a bit slow but whatever...they're very cheap and come with a lifetime warranty. DDM FTW

The true DRL's which are in canada only run at 50 % power meaning that they are powered by 6 volts only and not 12 volts. If someone was to convert the DRL's to HID system you will have to wire them to get 9 to 12 volts. meaning installing relays to obtain the correct voltage in order for the igniter on the HID system to work. It is not a plug and play.

I believe the USDM 07+ TLs have DRLs... running on the same system.
But essentially yes you are correct.

My DRLs are now aux. fogs... running projector-fogs with 3000k HIDs. Something went wrong in my wiring and thus 1 of them is running at possible 50% while the other is full. It's not running as DRLs anymore either.
So.. yeah, anyway, there's quite a few playing around needed to get DRL HIDs to work at both 100%.

I'm driving a 2007 base tl and i just got some HIDs from ddmtuning. I live around the area. installing was easy.
Got the 35w 3k for fogs (will post up pictures soon) they burned 2 of my fuses so had to replace fuse to 20a instead of 10a and works perfect now.

as for DRLs im thinking about changing mine too but definately shouldn't get hid for drls. maybe try V-LED for your drls.

DDM tuning is definately worth your money cost me 25 dollars and everything was perfect go check it out. make sure you know the right fitment before you order.

yep blew 2 fuses before i realized i had to change 10 to 15a. And only problem with my fogs is that if i leave them on and start my engine they flicker a bit and sometimes won't turn on. either the left or the right side. Not too much of a hassle i just turn them off and on again and works great. no flicker no turning off while driving.
