jus got my headlights done with JNC..im trying to connect the halos to a 12v source..i wanted the halos to turn on when the engine is on and off when the engine is off..does anybody know which wiring do i need to use for that layout?

I would wire them to an add-a-fuse. look in your owners manual for a fuse that would go on when the engine is turned on (i think with my led strips i used 21? but don't quote me on that.) i would also run it to a switch inside the cab so you can choose when you want them on our off. the other benefit is having a fuse for your halos so they won't burn out if something goes wrong. hope this helps

 

Also, to be clear, adding a switch means the halos will turn on/off with the engine when the switch is "on", and they will always be off (even when the key is set to ON) when the switch is "off".

i wired my angel eyes by tapping into the parking lights. this way they turn on with the stock switch. i used the red wire on the right side and the red/blue wire on the left side. these wires come from the side parking/blinker light

JD I tried what u said but its only on when I use the turn signal...when u said sparking/side blinker u mean the ones by the door or the front corners...I connect them to the front corners they also have red n red/blue wires

 

the front corner ones. thats weird, i just wired these a few weeks ago when i added my angel eyes and i remembered noting those wires down for future reference

 

the left wire is red/blue while the right is white for mine..i was trying to keep everything in the engine bay instead of running it thru the firewalll..the dreaded word "firewall" .. maybe i should try the wire that goes to the alternator.. that should work with a fuse breaker in between lol
