Hey everyone im new to this site but i've had my 02TL-S for a while now. I would like to have the headights cleared and color matched. I have the almost electric blue they only made the type S in that year along with the 03. i would like to see what the color match would look like first..do you happen to have any pic's laying around?? and where do i mail them to? i have a set of headlights that are brand new never installed on a car could i have it done to those ones?

 

I know that there's a thread out there with customer photos with JnC-modded headlights and there are a few color-matched ones.

I don't know who else may have asked JnC to do a blue color-match but my KBP may be as close to what you're looking for in terms of pics. (I've been meaning to take some pics of my headlights with my Canon for a while now. But until then, here are a few quick snaps with my iPhone.)





I'll try to take some with a better camera later and post.

 

Jnc, I am almost ready, I'm about to order my CCFL rings but I needed to know which ones to get. The thinline or the V2? Your input is appreciated..

Dont buy the CCFLs directly from umnitza, get them through their ebay vendor, I'll post link in a bit.

Did these for a local guy, he did a complete front end conversion on his IT-R but was lacking the black JDM ITR headlights. Got himself a set of chrome JDM headlights that were a bit damaged, I fixed all the problems with the lights and blacked them out at the same time.

Thanks bud, starting work on your headlights soon, you need to shoot me your contact number as I have to go over a few details with you.

Only reason why mike's headlights got taken care of first is that he sent his OEM lights in for the work. Members that send their lights in for the work get priority, rightfully so as I dont want their car to be out of commission for any longer period than it'd take me to do the work.

 

JnC, I PM'd you with no response? When you get a chance, just curious on the turn around time on an 06 blacked out set if i were to put my name on the list today?

Are these upgraded TL-S units swappable with the stock units from a 2005 model ?

218TL I bought mine from the LIGHTWORKZ guy on ebay. He's the UMNITZA guy.Two things tho to consider when seeking this nice product when dealing with this guy. 1. Dont expect to get them right away. He takes his time sending them out. 2. dont ask him any questions (at least one that you may need answered immediately) bc he takes his sweet ass time at getting back with you on that too. It makes you mad as hell but the product is top knotch.

 

JNC-nice job on Mike's headlights. What did you think of the side emitting LED's?

Anatoly (sp?) aka LIGHTWURKZ is the dealer through ebay, I have been dealing with him for 2 years now and he does indeed back Umnitza's product, highly recommended even though communication is a tad slow.

When the LED V2 first came out and I did my initial testings it showed to obstruct output a lot, I had made that assumption from just test fitting the product. I will be doing proper installed testing soon as it seems like a lot people want to go the LED route.

Steven, the side emitting LEDs are pretty neat but so were the other ones that I use to install in the past. I just hope that we dont run into dependability issues as we did with the previous LED strips.

Me too buddy. With mine-so far, so good. I have them wired up so the come on with both the DRL's and the headlights. So I'm keeping a close eye on them.

 

JnC, Should I send them back for the thinline? Visabillity is a strong concern. I noticed when I recieved them (the V LED"S) they looked eerilly smaller than I anticipated. Then I laid out the ZKW-R lens and gently test fitted the rings and the sat up about a 1/4 inch from the base of the lens. I'm sitting on go here and have almost $400 invested just in parts. I kinda need to hear you say something like" dont worry, I'm a bad ass, I'm gonna make this fit so you dont have to worrk about light obstruction!" Need to hear some positive talk here J, I sent you pm too btw. need a little reply on that if you can ! THX man
