I think clear or gray tinted would look good on my NBP.

Yes, you'll need an amber bulbs if you have 04-06 TL.
The 07+ type s already have amber bulbs as their stock signals, not sure about the base model.
Instruction and pictures will be provided for install, it's very easy though.

Actually, you don't need an amber bulb...unless you still want your turn signal to blink amber. A lot of people want them to be white or to match their HIDs, in which case, you would get white bulbs.

And before anyone asks, yes white turn signals in the front can be legal...it just depends on your state's laws.

 

White parking lights are OK but in which states are white signals legal? Never heard of that. Orange reflectors are also required on the front but you can get away with white or none. White signals are a cop magnet though.

We've been through this one, rocky, numerous times...white turn signals in the front are legal in NC. I don't know in what other states they're legal, and, quite frankly, I don't care. I poured through my state's inspection guidelines and the general statutes regarding motor vehicles. I would suggest anyone who wants to know all the ins and outs of the laws that affect them do the same.

Also, there is nothing specific in NC law regarding reflectors; therefore, they are not required. They are on the car due to federal law. However, our state laws make no reference to the federal law nor do they specifically require reflectors; therefore, you will pass inspection without them and cops won't give you tickets for not having them.

for those who are interested in the gray tinted version, do you guys want them clear throughout OR with inside surface frosted? i was thinking since they'll be tinted, frosted back might not be necessary.

the clear version will have frosted back since you can see through them.

So when the light goes through the diffuser, the light refracts throughout the plastic to brighten up the effect.

what you're talking about is basically black chrome. i'm getting my headlight housing painted black chrome just like the type s taillights at the moment right now.

you can't have that finish on diffusers because it won't be transparent for signals to go through.
