are you talking about the e46 m3 csl trunk?

U mean a type s trunk spoiler?

There is no knock off for it....u can only buy it oem..talk to acktl05 he can hook you up.

Chinese knockoffs are for the regular trunk spoiler which is nice also but of coarse not like the type s that sticks out a little more......

There are many from eBay ..search around

Here are pics of both the spoiler AND the A-Spec kit. The last couple of pics are from my AZ Album, which does not appear to be loading correctly. Apparently, its more important for some advertising to be seen than the pictures in my Album!

It's so subtle that its doesn't seem worth the money IMO. Couldn't justify spending that much on a spoiler that 99% of people wouldn't even notice.

My intention was not to make it too flashy or riced out.

I wanted to make it subtle to blend in the flow of the rear of the trunk. At first, I mimic this design based on the 2004 TL Concept which appeared at the auto show in Detroit. That TL Concept had the CSL Style spoiler which originally based off the BMW M3 CSL. But the TL Concept was constructed as a wide body and the spoiler molded onto the trunk.

Initially, I was fond with the idea and I sourced out some fabricator to see if they are willing to make an 1 off molded carbon fiber CSL spoiler molded onto my trunk and also an add on piece for customer who were interested. I had the fabricator make a mold and manage to make either carbon fiber or fiberglass.

Here is the outcome:

I agree with some of the posters above. They are nice but not worth the money.

I actually really like the style of it. There's a wdp TL that got it molded and it turned out really nice.

A lot of people have the "Type-S" style trunk lip spoilers that ship from ebay vendors. These are what most would describe as "knockoffs".

Opinions are like assholes: Everyone has one and they all stink!

With that said, like everything else in modding cars, people do what they like and do not do what they don't like.

Granted, these spoilers are expensive. I bought mine in the Black Market and after finishing, painting and mounting the total came to about $500---way over what I budgeted, but I am very pleased with the results.

A very special thanks to KB1Spec for producing these---I am proud to have one on my car.

As for them getting stolen----do NOT use 3M tape to mount these pieces. My Body Shop used a Window Weld-type material and I assure you, my spoiler is going nowhere without the rest of the trunk going with it!

There's no such thing as a "normal aspec spoiler" for the trunk.

The ebay trunk lip spoilers are not OEM, they are similar (aka knockoffs). So obviously they are not exactly the same thing as the lip spoilers that come on the Type-S from the factory.

what I am saying is that the Type-S spoiler looks different from a normal decklid spoiler ....theres essentially three spoilers for our car......the normal decklid spoiler and the wing spoiler were the two that were initially for our before the TLS came out....

Now the TLS decklid spoiler is bigger, beefier, and looks completely different from the "eBay style spoiler" The eBay style spoiler looks almost identical (pretty much is identical minus the bolts since it comes with double sided tape) to the normal decklid spoiler....so there is a fundamental difference....which is what I was getting at.

Only way I can think of this is to get ahold of one of these, and make a mold of it to mass produce and profit.

Don't know how willing CSL spoiler owners are willing to remove and lend their spoiler for the process though.

Just spit balling an idea here... But today I've been able to see an 04-06 Aspec TL and saw how subtle the deck lid spoiler is. Then I saw an 8th gen civic outside my house with a decklid and it looks much "emphasized" we shall call it. Is it possible that it would fit our trunks?? Obviously it won't color match but it was just an idea

I believe they are no longer in production, this was available around 2009-2011 only. This and the Serradona or sedona roof spoiler. Last time I saw it offer as new was almost $400.
