Crunched numbers w/ dealer today...this anygood?
Hey All,
Went to dealer today to test drive again and talk $$$. I showed the salesperson an online quote for 32,800 + 245 process + TTL. Then another online quote for 32,800 + 95 process + TTL.
After a little back and forth we settled on:
Vehicle /w Protection Package: 33,136
Processing Fee: 100
Tax, Title, Registration in (DC): 2529.52
Total OTD: 35765.52
Gave 500 on my credit card as deposit because I plan to pick the car up another day this week. I wanted to do a full inspection of the car prior to completely closing the deal.
Can anyone tell me what they think of the price that I settled on. DC tax are high, so please evaluate the vehicle price.
Thanks,
Storm

I think people will need a bit more information in order to give you an opinion on how good / bad your deal is. Is the TL you are planning on purchasing (1) a 2005 or 2006 (2) a maunal or auto (3) Navi or Non-Navi? And which dealership by the way, I had great luck with Radely.
Just a side comment, if this is a non-navi your deal looks a bit high. My friend bought his 05 Navi Auto last year for 33K and change OTD.

Sounds decent to me... But you ought to check out Radley Acura as well... They are very good in the service department. Not saying Chevy Chase is not, I have never used them before.
Radley is located in Baileys Crossroads if that is closer for you...

Chevy Chase Acura
Last week, I left 2 voice messages to 2 different service advisors at Chevy Chase Acura. For whatever reason, no return calls at all. I find it strange that they don't pick up right away when a call is made to their service deparment. Just an fyi...
Storm - it sounds like you got the car at invoice ($32,800) which I think is a good deal, especially in our area.
Congrats!!!

Maybe Radely in alexandria would have done better for me. Karen Radely in woodbridge wasnt trying to work with me at all on a 2005 AT navi last year in march . . . I ended up buying mine from Pohanka.

Look at the online sites
edmunds.com
kbb.com
autos.msn.com
If you think you're getting a good deal, then you're getting a good deal.
Seems like everyone that is buying a new TL posts to see if they are getting a good deal.
